Indonesian food recipe: Sate Lilit Bali


Sate this paradise island wear distinctive fresh chicken meat. Complete seasoning makes it taste so savory and delicious. Lemongrass that be it’s puncture gave the savory scent.

1 kg minced chicken
50 ml vegetable oil
100 g red onion, finely chopped
40 g garlic, finely chopped
4 pieces of red chili, seeded, finely chopped
20 g ginger, finely chopped
20 g ginger, finely chopped
10 g kencur, finely chopped
10 g turmeric, finely chopped
1 tsp pepper
2 whole cloves, crushed
1 teaspoon nutmeg
5 g coriander finely
3 gr white sesame seeds, crushed
1 tsp pepper
2 tsp salt
36 pieces of lemongrass
2 pieces of lime leaves, finely sliced
50 g grated coconut

How to Make:

Heat oil and saute onion until fragrant.
Add the garlic and stir until wilted.
Add spices and other spices.
Stir until fragrant and wilted. Lift.
Blend the spices sautéed with ulegan or blender until smooth.
Combine spices with minced chicken.
Stir by hand until well blended.
Add lime leaves and coconut, stirring until blended.
Divide the dough into 36 circles.
Place the dough circles on the end of stalks lemongrass.
Pull downward while turn the dough around the top end of lemongrass.
Grilled skewers over hot coals while back and forth until cooked.
Serve with peanut sauce or chili.
